Terri Johnson   Stacey Gideon
Terri Johnson graduated as class Salutatorian from Villisca High School (Villisca, IA) in 1990. She received her Associates Degree from Indian Hills Community College in 1992. She began working as Kids World Day Care and Preschool in Centerville, IA in 1991. Terri was co-lead teacher in Preschool classroom. She was the assistant Director at Kids World for the past seven years. She has fifteen years of experience working in childcare. In 2003, Terri returned to college, where she graduated Summa Cum Lande with a B.A in Business Administration from Graceland University in December 2005. In August of 2006 she became the Director at Davis County Daycare and Preschool. Terri resides in Centerville where she has Daisy Troop with the Girl Scouts. Terri is also the public relations Representative for the Girl Scouts of Appanoose County.   ASSISTANTS

Meet our TEACHERS

Catherine Hill Kristie Bailey
Catherine (Catie) Hill graduated from Macomb, Ill. High School in 1977.  She received her Child Development Associate Credential in 2003 while living in Aurora, CO.  Catie has been working in the field of Early Childhood Development for 28 years.  Catie now brings her years of experience and expertise to our staff at DC Daycare & Preschool.    Catie has just recently moved to rural Bloomfield with her husband, Doug. Kristie is a Davis County native and graduated from DC High School in 1976.  Upon graduating, Kristie has provided living care to hundreds of children in over 30 years of child care experience.   She has provided care both from her home and in center settings.  Kristie makes her home in Bloomfield with her husband, Dean and three dogs.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Nicole McCreedy Terri McDougall
Nicole is a Bloomfield native and graduated from DC High School in 1999.  After high school, Nicole attended Indian Hills Community College and received her Child Care Technician diploma in 2001.  Nicole has worked in the child care field for over four years.  Nicole lives in Bloomfield and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Terri was born in Bloomfield and grew up in rural Cantril. She gradated from Fox Valley in 1982 and Indian Hills Community College in 1984 with further studies at UNI and NMSU. She began her career working with children in 1986 as a La Petite Academy (model Center) in Kansas City where she obtained her Montessori training. While there, she got to dabble in curriculum development and assist the director. Since then, she has worked with adults with disabilities as a Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. Terri returned to child care in 1994 at the La Petite Academy in Johnston, IA After her daughter, Olivia was born, she began her career as a home childcare provider in Dallas Center, IA. Soon after Son, Patrick was born, Terri and her husband Corey moved their family to Bloomfield so that their children could grow up in a small community and be close to their grandparents.

Terri joins the Davis County Daycare and Preschool as a Teacher's Associate working in Ms. Catie's "Learning Lions" room.

Jessica Markley
Jessica lives in Bloomfield, with boyfriend Blake and their daughter Ella. She graduated from Van Buren County High School and is currently attending Indian Hills Community College. Jessica started at the Davis County Daycare and Preschool in August and really enjoys it. She has worked in other daycares in the past, but not as structured and organized as this one. Everyone has made her feel very welcome. Her daughter Ella enjoys attending the daycare too
 
Lindsey Silvers
Lindsey is currently our 3 year old preschool teacher.
 
Nichole Davis
Nikki is a Davis County native, she graduated from Davis County High School in 1995 and attended Indian Hills Community College for one year.  Nikki has twelve years of child care experience, and has provided care in both child care centers and from her home.  Nikki makes her home in Pulaski with her husband, Adam and dog, Phoebe.
